What you need to know:
The gates to the grounds open at 12.00pm on Wednesday February 25th.
The Hawke’s Bay Schools Invitational curtain raiser will begin at 12:45pm before The Legends of Art Deco Cricket Match starts at 4.00pm.
The match is expected to finish at approximately 6:00pm

Food and Beverages
Paella-a-go-go, Rocket Kitchen Kebabs and the Pipi Truck will be on site pumping out tasty treats through out the day.
Please bring plenty of cash as there are no EFTPOS cash out facilities on site, some food vendors may have EFTPOS but availability is not guaranteed.
Picnics are encouraged but please note that there is a strict no BYO alcohol policy in place.
Wineries Black Barn, Sileni Estate, Trinity Hill and Elephant Hill will have stands where you can purchase wine. Tuatara Beer will also be available.
Salut will be on site to take care of all your coffee needs.
Water will be available on the day, but if possible, please bring drinking containers that we can fill for you, as we will be dispensing in plastic cups.
Buses will be available from Napier, Hastings and Havelock North to the game and will return at the end.
Bus passes are available to purchase at $10 per person each way.

From the ground
Buses Depart From 18:30 to Havelock North & Hastings i-SITEs and to Napier i-SITE
The last bus will leave at 7:05pm or just after close of play.
Please bring plenty of cash, as there are no EFTPOS facilities on site, with the possible exception of some of the food vendors. PLEASE NOTE though that they will not be able to provide cash out with purchases.
There will be wine and beer sales available on the day, please bring cash and ID – This event is strictly NON BYO, bags will be searched when entering the grounds.
Please note that this event is strictly non smoking due to fire risk.
Please bring a picnic blanket, your beach chairs, your hat and plenty of sunscreen.
No gazebos or BBQs are allowed in the general admission areas.
Sunshade is encouraged but please be considerate of spectators that are behind you – nothing too tall!

See the best Intermediate School players from around Hawke’s Bay slog it out in a Napier vs Hastings 20/20 grudge match of epic proportions.
Teams will be made up from representatives of both girls and boys local schools. Honour will be on the line and the victors will carry bragging rights for the year.
Play will begin at 12:45pm and finish up at 3:30pm before the Legends of Cricket Art Deco Match kicks off at 4pm.
